Minutes of last meeting
The meeting was opened at 7:40 pm on October 19, 2005 by President Ken Simmons. The minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted. The financial report was read and accepted. The complete Air Fair report is not available as all of the bills are not in yet.

Old Business
After the financial report was read a discussion ensued about EAA 837 involvement in Air Fair 2006. It was also discussed to possibly do the Air Fair every two years. Kevin Horiup suggested for EAA 837 board to make the suggested participation level and have it voted by the entire club.

New Business
Cheryl Cruson discussed Dr. Daniel’s pictures of the Air Fair. It was suggested that a sheet or three sheets be given to the Air Fair sponsors for a thank you. A volume discount was suggested and Ken Simmons said he would look into getting them printed. Cheryl made a list for the already printed pictures.

Ken Simmons said the sign was put up at the entry to the Airport and the day of the Young Eagles fly.

Kevin Horiup gave the account of the Young Eagle fly-in day. Dr. Daniels submitted pictures and information to the Argus Observer. Somehow, the information was a little mixed up. Kevin said we flew 53 Young Eagles. There were plenty of pilots for the Young Eagles present.

Ken Simmons reported that there was an accident in Seattle. Two Young Eagles were killed in the accident. The first fatalities in the Young Eagles we knew of.

Dick Strawn said there are some very good videos available for take-offs and landings. We should show some of these at a meeting. Ken Simmons said he would look into them.

It was reported that Sky Star filed Chapter 7.

Calendars are available for 2006 we will have to sign up for them this year.

The Ontario Airport will be closed next 3 days from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weiser airport is now open with new tarmac.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 for refreshments.
