EAA 837 Snake River Valley Meeting, August

Meeting called to order by President Steve Conant.
Minutes of June 16th approved.
Old Business: Treasurer, Bob Troxel reported that the Nyssa breakfast
produced over $700.00 profit to the club.
Glenn & Pat Marcum and volunteers were congratulated on their work to
make the breakfasts a success.
Ken Simmons received a Second Place Award from National EAA for his
chapter web page. He displayed the plaque which featured a beautifully
crafted propeller.
Alan Daniels, Ontario Airport Manager, asked for help to install the new
airport sign on Friday, August 22. He said that the airport renovation
would cost over $1,000,000. The runway will be closed three times
during the construction period.
Announcements:
Ontario Air-Faire will be on October 4th, with Warbirds on display,
Young Eagles, and a pancake breakfast. There will be no acrobatics or
high speed passes.
Wenatchee, WA, is holding an airfair on October 4th.
Meeting was adjourned followed by the potluck dinner.
